Donation Drive: The suggested donation amount for the 2020/2021 school year is $300 per child for all grades. If we have 100% participation, we will meet our goal of raising $140,000, which allows our administration to maintain the level of curriculum and staffing provided for the 2020/2021 school year at John Baldwin. There are several different ways to donate, including check, credit card, and a three-payment option. We gratefully accept donations at any level throughout the school year.

Remember -- all donations made to the Cougar Education Fund are tax deductible (tax exempt #68-0432593).

Charleston Wrap:  This is a super easy fundraiser!  All you do is shop on line at the month of October and 40% of your sale will be donated to John Baldwin's Cougar Ed Fund.   Sign your child up as a participant and share with family and friends with a click of a button.  Charleston Wrap has great quality wrapping paper and so much more!  Did you know they have over 2,500 items including home decor, items for your pets, tech gadgets, kitchen accessories, gourmet food items, and of course more!  Enter Organization code 19866 when shopping.

Jog-a-Thon: This is an elementary age-appropriate FUNdraiser that involves the students and promotes physical fitness. The students participate in the fundraising efforts by collecting sponsorships/donations from family, friends and neighbors (John Baldwin Elementary does not promote going door to door – please only contact people you know for donations!). Students then participate in the physical fitness portion by walking or jogging laps around our track for 30-40 minutes. However, due to the pandemic a virtual event may take place.  This is a great way for the children to feel empowered by raising money for their school and learning about the importance of physical fitness.

We are looking for a volunteers to assist the in planning for this school-wide event.  Please contact if you are interested.

Spring Fundraiser: TBD for 2020/2021 Our Spring Fundraiser is a community-building event that has traditionally been our Bid for Kids online auction and Live Gala Event. We are currently seeking committee members to explore new opportunities, and provide a fresh perspective to achieving our fundraising goals. This TBD event will continue to be a vital source of funding for CEF.

We are looking for volunteers to coordinate or assist with future fundraising opportunities!  Please contact if you are interested.

Corporate Matching Funds: DOUBLE or even TRIPLE your contribution to John Baldwin’s Cougar Education Fund by applying to your Corporate Matching Program. Did you know that many business organizations offer a matching gift program as a part of their employee benefits package? These programs allow you to invoke your organization's philanthropy for the benefit of John Baldwin Elementary. Your employer will match your CEF donations provided it is processed within the specified time period. Thanks to the generosity of these companies we raised nearly $15,000 during the last academic year.
